Difference in education processes in various regions
Posted by on June 3, 2010During financialturning point education stays as one of the maxi and most important assets. sendspace search particularly it is apprehended as the best direct dedication of financial and time reosurces. It is essential to include all the main chains in one’s education process: from the elementary classes up to the moment when you are through with the university and most likely start to look for the company to work for or continue with your study and decide about going for the mba, followed by Phd. If you eliminate one of the stages, the education process will be not useful enough. While your elementary, middle and high school you have to develop a foundation for upcoming bachelor degree in the academy. This is one of the incentives, why there are so many courses, which are not interconnected to each other at all (like Match, Literature), but they are still combined together in the curriculum. The main goal of this is to provide the student the basic knowledge about the most intrinsic spheres of people’s life and evolution. after all, from my point of view there are couple of differences between the earlier stages of education structure in the USA and Europe. In USA starting from early years the system is built in such a direction, that students begin to narrow down their education to special knowledge, which will be almost certainly tied up with their upcoming job. In other words, education takes more specialized approach. From the other side in Europe we observe more theory and ground classic education. Pupils learn the single course not connecting it too much to their future possible job. Which way is the most efficient? Certainly representatives of each side will bring their arguments and try to prove the weak sides of another structure. anyhow this ellaboration will never come to an end. Throughout decades both systems confirmed to be sufficient and be able to provide appropriate level of academic preparation of children before leaving to the big life. windows 7 ultimate 64bit therefore, it is all the time up to you: go deeper in the pure subjects and achieve top theoretical knowledge or abstract a little bit and attempt to start applying your knowledge to possible type of work already while learning at the early stages.
Another aspect, which should be also certainly put into attention is the approach to the college education in different areas. In USA and the countries of former USSR (we will suppose these for comparison as they represent the aspects in question in the most understandable way) majority of the time student is placed in a rather grim situation and has to tab the subjects, which he/she is planning to study very cautiously as the process of moving to another course is quite time consuming and requires a lot of resources. In European states we have different picture: students are quite protected while their college studies and have possibility to switch their course around 2-3 times !? Switching too many times does not give any additional value into the education process. How might these distinctions be clarified? From my point of view the governmental policies are the main determinants in this situation. USA, countries of former USSR are quite controlled and social security as the concept is not well accepted on the national level. In USA it is like this as a cosequence of commonUS behavior, aiming towards lower taxes, primary state of private property, while in the countries of former USSR the economyis booming and the governmental social protection initiatives are only emerging. In Europe on the other hand we can notice, that social protection undertake a very intrinsic position in the society, and of course in students’ lives in this case. Having protection from the state, students have the possibility to concentrate on studies. In times of these processes students do not risk to be fetched to army or some obligatory service, which will take the learning in a complicated position. in spite of there are definitely some negative points. First of all, sometimes because of this self-possessed position students are not motivated enough and therefore do not use their time properly and have probability to end up spending a bit too much on their bachelor program for instance. If they had spent a lot of effort, they presumptively would have finished the bachelor earlierand as a consequence would have a time to enroll for master studies before starting their job and therefore increase their salary prospects.
Thus, you can understand that education is one of most interesting and challenging processes in life and there are a lot of roads to choose from, it’s up to you to decide which one to undertake.
